The 18th annual West Coast Women’s Show is taking place next month in Abbotsford.

The show offers various activities that will be of interest to women of all kinds. There will be over 400 vendors’ booths that will be showcasing the latest products and services available in the area. There will also be an Artisans’ Marketplace where guests can purchase such handmade items as jewelry, ceramics, pottery and clothing. The booths will be divided up into various zones, including the Home and Interior Design Zone.

There will be three stages providing entertainment such as fashion shows (including one by calendar firefighters) and cooking demonstration. There will also be guest speakers such as Larry Thomas from Seinfeld, and Eric Braeden of The Young and the Restless. In addition, there will be plenty of giveaways, prizes and special shopping deals.

The World of Taste will let guests sample a variety of food from local restaurants and caterers. There will also be three Women Empowering Women panel discussions. Organizers of events like this often contact local stationery printers to order marketing materials such as flyers and posters.

The West Coast Women’s Show will be held at Tradex on October 13 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $12 for adults, $9 for seniors and youth between the ages of 13 and 17, and $4 for children from 6 to 12. Visit the event website for more information.
