Quilt Walk and Car Show return to Delta

The 14th annual Quilt Walk and Car Show is taking place this month in Delta. It is a presentation of the Ladner Business Association.

The car show is set to feature hundreds of vehicles in 18 vehicle classes this includes classic cars, motorcycles and trucks. Registration is open to the public. The registration fee is $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the show. The first 150 to register will receive a gift bag. Awards will be presented in each of the vehicle classes.

The quilt walk is expected to feature over 150 quilts. The public will be able to vote for which quilts will receive the Traditional, Modern and Youth awards. Quilts can be registered for $3 each and proceeds will be donated to the Delta Hospital Foundation.

The show will also have musical entertainment from The Lounge Hounds and Ben Klein as Elvis, food trucks and a variety of vendors selling items such as car parts, collectibles and retro products. There will also be a Pin-Up Pageant where 10 women will compete in a 1940’s style beauty contest.
