Mississauga airport to offer sneak peek into its operations

July 7, 2018 by

The Pearson International Airport, which is located in Mississauga, will be offering the public a chance to get a sneak peek into its operations, and anyone who is 10 years of age or over is welcome to join the tour.

The organizers of the occasion noted that last year, more than 47 million passengers made use of the airport and its services. Members of the tour group will be able to see how the facility meets the needs of these passengers, airlines and the others it serves.

The group will gather at the GTAA Administration Building, which is located at 31111 Convair Drive before they start out for this behind-the-scenes look, and there is no fee being charged to participate. Since no two days at the airport are exactly the same, those who plan on being included in the event will enjoy a unique experience, and advance registration is mandatory for this free occasion. People are welcome to bring along a camera so they can take lots of photos of the fun.

Every person who comes for the tour will be required to show their photo ID, regardless of their age. Any printed products needed for this type of occasion can be sourced from print shops in the local area.

This special look at the daily operations of Pearson International Airport will be offered to the public on August 7, starting at 4:00 pm. The Mississauga.com website includes more information.
