The Mainstreet Cruisers is hosting its 25th annual Charity Show and Shine next month in Edmonton. Proceeds will be donated to Little Warriors and the E4C Hot Lunch Program.

The show is open to all vehicles, including cars, trucks and motorcycles. There are set to be muscle cars, street rods, classics and rat rods. Anyone can register their vehicles for $15 each; the first 150 who register will receive goody bags. The top ten chosen vehicles will receive trophies.

There will also be door prizes and live entertainment throughout the day. The Great Root Bear from A&W will be making an appearance and posing for photographs with the public.

The Little Warriors is an organization that helps treat abused children, and offers the Be Brave Ranch for children between the ages of 8 and 12 that offers trauma treatment services. The E4C Hot Lunch Program serves over 2,100 children from Kindergarten up to Grade 6.

Goody bags given to vehicle owners often contain items such as money-off coupons or fridge magnets that may have been ordered from Edmonton stationery printers.

The Mainstreet Cruisers Charity Show and Shine will be held at the Mill Woods Town Centre on July 8 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Contact Betty Jethon at 780-459-0971 or Joyce Datzoff at 780-434-9736 for the most current information about this event.
