The Richmond Hill Farmers’ Market will soon be opening its gates for another summer season, and the public is invited to stop by and check out all it has to offer.

The vendors at the market will be selling everything from arts and crafts to locally grown produce, honey, flowers and many other products. Along with all of this, there will be entertainment, kids activities and many other offerings to help make it an enjoyable experience.

The season will kick off in early June, and Gregory Swain is scheduled to keep the crowd entertained for the grand opening. Shoppers can browse through the booths and enjoy a snack or drink while they meet other community members who share their love of going local.

The organizers of the market are currently selecting the farms and other businesses that will be included in the event, and these will all be offering products that are sourced from within 200 km of Richmond Hill. They have created a list of the participating vendors and are adding to it as the opening day gets closer. Signage and other printed items for this type of community event can be supplied by an area printing services provider.

The opening day for this year’s market season is June 10. It is located at the Elgin Barrow Arena, and those who would like to pay are visit are urged to use public transportation options to get there. More information about the event, as well as the enterprises that will be participating, can be found on its website.
