Edmonton opera fans offered special opportunity

A staging of Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore is on the agenda for Edmonton, and opera fans are being offered a special opportunity to see the performers in a more intimate setting.

The Royal Glenora Club will be the host of a brunch that will be held before the production. As the guests enjoy the meal of dishes that were selected for the occasion by the venue’s executive chef, members of the cast will treat the crowd to recitals and other performances.

Each ticketholder for the function will receive a mimosa to welcome them to the brunch, and the meal will be served buffet-style between the hours of 11:00 am until 12:00 noon. Adults and children alike are welcome, and the ticket price will depend upon the age of the guest. Free parking is available for anyone who will be driving to the event. A booklet printing company can be called upon to provide programs and other printed materials for this type of artistic event.

Servus Credit Union is the sponsor for the function, and it will be held on January 25th in the Royal Glenora Club. The live entertainment will begin at noon, and run until 1:00 pm. More information, along with an opportunity to purchase tickets and find out about other operas on the company’s schedule, can be found on its website.
