Abbotsford event to spread some holiday cheer

The Fraser Valley Brain Injury Association (FVBIA) has planned a holiday celebration and fundraiser in Abbotsford, and the community is welcome to join in the festivities.

The event, which will include a dinner, will raise funds that will be used to help the FVBIA support its various programs and other initiatives. Along with the meal, there will be a silent auction where guests will have an opportunity to bid on an assortment of items that have been donated by businesses and individuals in the area.

The organizers of the function are hoping that the local community will be generous in its support of the Christmas dinner, and donations of items for the auction will be greatly appreciated. They went on to say that adding an extra monetary contribution when purchasing a ticket will help to make it possible for as many people as possible to attend. Donations of non-perishable food items will also be welcome, as these will be used in the various drop-in programs the FVBIA administers. Holiday cards that invite special guests to an event like can be crafted by an area printing company.

This holiday dinner and fundraiser promises to be a fun time for everyone who participates. It will be taking place on December 6 in the Cascade Community Church. The ticket prices for the function start at $14 each.
