Calling all Burnaby coin collectors

August 10, 2017 by

Collectors of coins stamps, paper money, post cards and other small items are invited to a Burnaby show that will give them a chance to add to their own personal collection.

Ore than 40 tables of vendors will be set up for the Coins, Stamps and Collectables fundraiser, which is being held in support of local not for profit groups. Both ancient and modern coins will be on display, and an appraiser will be on site for those who have an item they wish to have valued. The organizers noted that this event tends to attract many out of town buyers, so it is a good chance for people to find a collectable they haven’t seen before.

The monies raised through this two-day long activity, which is being hosted through the assistance of the North Shore Numismatic Society, will be donated to an assortment of local charities. The admission price will be $2.00 for one day and $3.00 for both, and there is no charge for those under 16. Packaging supplies and other materials for the vendors that will be participating in an expo like this can be supplied by an area printer.

September 9th has been selected as the date for this occasion, which will take place at the Nikkei Centre. Anyone who is interested in finding out more information can do so on the North Shore Numismatic Society’s website.
