Holiday urn workshop planned for Sherwood Park

A Sherwood Park workshop will give those who participate a chance to get a jump on their holiday decorating by teaching them how to craft a decorative urn they can place at the front door of their home or business.

Salisbury Greenhouses will serve as the site for the class, and the only cost for those who take part will be the cost of materials plus a refundable deposit to hold their seat. Everything from colorful branches and other decorations to the container to place them in will be available for purchase, and instruction will be given in how to craft them into something special.

Those who come out are asked to bring along a pair of sturdy and sharp clippers if the have them, and they also noted that the class can be a good choice for those who are interested in a morning creative get away. The difficulty level of the project is listed as 2, and the cost for the suggested materials will be approximately $110. Holiday cards that promote an event like this can be mailed out to each of a business’s customers to let them know when and where it will be taking place.
