YEG ale lovers set to celebrate

August 8, 2017 by

Edmonton Beer Geeks Anonymous (EBGA) members are serious about supporting the local craft brewing industry, and they have planned an event that will give lovers a real ale a chance to sample some that’s made right in their home town.

Breweries from Edmonton, and across the rest of the western provinces as well, will be participating in the EBGA Real Ale Festival. Guests will be able to get to know these libations a bit better, all while enjoying time with friends in the great outdoors. The ticket price for the occasion includes a souvenir take home glass, three beer tokens, a wrist band that will allow them to leave and re-enter the event and also one ticket for the raffle draw. Those who wish to purchase additional tastings will be welcome to do so.

The organizers noted that the different ales will be offered on a first come, first served basis, and will be poured until they run out. Pub fare and other food will be supplied by Old Country Meat and Deli, and designated drivers will be made very welcome. A print company can supply an assortment of customized promotional products for an event such as this.

This event, which will be dedicated to the enjoyment of naturally conditioned real ale will take place on September 9th. More details can be found on the EBGA Facebook page.
