Woodworkers to ply their trade

The 27th annual Woodstock Wood Show will take place at the Woodstock Fairgrounds from September 28 to 30 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm each day. Admission is $10, with children aged 12 and under allowed entrance free of charge. The show is expected to draw up to 20,000 visitors.

The Wood Show is home to the Upper Canada Woodworking Championship. In addition, there will be seminars, woodworking seminars, woodworking machinery, woodcutting demonstrations, tools on display, craft exhibitions, and vendors. Guests can expect to be ablew to buy such items as handmade furniture, hand-carved birds and other animals, woodworking tools, and decorative artworks.

It is probable that those vendors who are taking part in the show will be working with Woodstock printing companies to prepare for this annual event. Banner printing, flyer printing, and sign printing services will no doubt be necessary. Since there will be so many vendors, getting the attention of the visiting public will be something for vendors to think about. A colourful banner or sign hung over a booth would draw the attention of passers-by. Meanwhile, those woodworkers who plan to be in attendance would also be well-advised to distribute flyers to the community advertising their participation in the Wood Show and what products they will be selling

Craftspeople may consider offering a money saving coupon on the flyer for people who bring it to them. This will not only bring in new customers but it will make it possible for the vendor to gauge exactly how successful that flyer campaign was for future marketing efforts.
