Winter Market returns to Calgary for another year

November 7, 2016 by

An event will be taking place in Calgary that will give people a chance to get a jump on their holiday shopping while they browse through offerings from more than 50 local vendors.

The third annual Winter Market will bring a huge assortment of local artisans, craftspeople and other vendors together in a fun and festive atmosphere. There will be live music playing throughout the day, food to sample, and a photo booth. A Kids Zone will be set up for the younger folk with crafts and games, and Santa himself may even be making a special appearance.

A holiday cut-a-thon will also be a part of the celebration, with $20.00 haircuts given by professional stylists to members of the public. Monies raised from this portion of the event will be donated to a local women’s shelter. A printer that provides sign printing services will be able to provide customized signage, banners, and other promotional items for an event like this.

The Winter Market will be held on November 26 and 27, and also December 3 and 4, with the cut-a-thon taking place on December 3. The location of the event will be Eau Claire Market Centre Court at 200 Barclay Parade SW. There will be no admission fee charged to enter, and further details are available on its website.
