Winnipeg set to celebrate Canada Day

This Canada Day, Canad Inns will be hosting a day of family-themed fun in Winnipeg, and according to the company, it is proud to be able to do so.

Assiniboine Park has been chosen as the site for the festivities, and there will be plenty to see and do for all ages. Live performers will be taking to the stage throughout the day, there will be food to sample, an assortment of activities’ and the whole celebration will be capped off with a huge fireworks display.

According to its organizers, the festivities will be a celebration of Manitoban culture, and a number of the province’s artists will be performing for the crowd on the event’s Lyric Theatre Stage. These include Pop Vegas, RCAF Band Jet Stream, Petric, and The Spence Tradition.

As it is Canada’s 150th birthday, there will be specially planned opening ceremonies as well as slices of birthday cake to enjoy. Wide format printing can be utilized by a local printer to produce large sized banners, signs, and decorations for a big outdoor function such as this.

All of this has been planned for July 1 in Assiniboine Park, starting at 1:00 pm. The will be no admission charged at the gate to enter, and additional information has been made available on the Cana Inn’s corporate website.
