Wine to take centre stage at Oakville event

November 6, 2016 by

Those who live in Oakville, and who love to sample and enjoy different wines and spirits from all over the world, are invited to attend an event that will offer them the chance to feed their passion.

The Oakville Wine Enthusiasts’ Club will be hosting the evening, which has been dubbed ‘A Tartan Christmas’ and will have a Scottish theme. It will feature live music from Groove Hammer, and traditional foods such as haggis will be served, as will a four-course dinner. Guests will be able to visit the 12 tasting stations that will be set up, and craft beers and ales will also be featured. Wide format printing can be put to use in crafting themed banners and other decorations that have been specially created for this type of event.

The event is open to those ages 19 and over, and there are a variety of hotels and taxi services in the community that will be able to meet the needs of those who will attend the celebration and do not want to have to worry about driving home afterwards. It will be held on December 2 in the St. Volodymyr’s Cultural Centre in Oakville from 6:00 pm until 1:00 am. Tickets are $90 each.

Those who are interested in attending ‘A Tartan Christmas’ can find out more information and purchase their tickets through its Eventbrite page.
