Windsor residents invited to show local crafters some love

March 14, 2017 by

Windsor crafters will be offering the public an opportunity to browse through some of their best work, and everyone is welcome to come and see what they have created.

The Annual Handmade Spring Extravaganza will feature more than 100 local artisans who will have booths set up to showcase their creations. Those who come out will be able to browse through the pottery, candles and other home décor, soaps, clothing, gourmet foods and floral displays that will be showcased, and perhaps even find a treasure to buy and take home with them. Those who will be selling their products during the show can use customized branded labels, which have been prepared by a printer, on the items they will be offering for sale.

To help keep the kids entertained, there will be special activities for them, including face painting and photo sessions. There will also be a drawing for a specially selected handcrafted prize.

The weekend showcases what local crafters have to offer, and has been organized by From Our Hands to Yours. No admission fee is being charged to enter, but donations to help support the local school breakfast program will be gratefully accepted.

April 8 and 9 have been selected as the dates for the event, which will be held in the Windsor Family Credit Union Centre’s Community Complex. Additional information can be found on the Eyes on Windsor website.
