Vancouver set to welcome spring with annual festival

March 31, 2017 by

As the warmer days of spring approach, the buds on Vancouver’s cherry trees will be opening and to celebrate this yearly spectacle, the city will be hosting its annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

Everyone in the city is invited to get inspired and join in the festivities. Both biking and walking tours will be available, and people are also encouraged to become a “cherry scout” and take photos and other recordings of their favorites. These can be uploaded and then used to create a cherry blossom viewing map that covers the 23 distinctive neighborhoods that comprise the city as a whole.

Along with all of this, there will be an assortment of other activities as well. There will be concerts, a picnic, a spring lights illumination, paining sessions, a Japanese fair, an online haiku festival, a gala dinner and much more. A printer can supply the organizers of a celebration such as this with a branding upgrade service to ensure that its logos and other brand marks are current, relevant and effective.

People are invited to join their friends and neighbors in this springtime celebration, which will run from March 30th until April 23rd at various locations throughout Vancouver. A complete listing of the times and locations for the different activities and other relevant information can be found on the event’s website.
