Upcoming Edmonton seminar to focus on neuroscience nursing

October 22, 2016 by

Neuroscience nurses from Edmonton and the surrounding areas are invited to come to an event that will focus on their sector.

Neuro Frenzy will be a daylong seminar that covers a wide assortment of topics related to the brain and nervous system. These include stroke, neurosurgery and general neurology. While it is geared towards nursing, people who work in other healthcare professions are also welcome to take part. A variety of speakers will be giving presentations, and both coffee breaks and lunch are included in the registration price.

Throughout the day, there will be breaks where attendees can network and share best practices. A print company can provide banners, name tags, and promotional products that can be given out as swag during an event such as this.

Parking is available for the event, and it is also accessible via the ETS and the LRT for those who would prefer to leave their vehicle at home.

Neuro Frenzy has been organized by the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses (CANN), and will take place on November 21 in Bernard Snell Hall, which is located at 8440 112 Street Northwest in Edmonton. Tickets start at $35 for CANN members and $70 for nonmembers. They, along with more details about the seminar, can be obtained by visiting the Eventbrite page that has been set up for it.
