Timmins fireworks and music festival seeking vendors, sponsors and volunteers

January 9, 2017 by

The community of Timmins will be hosting an International Fireworks Competition and Music Festival this summer, and its organizers have put out a call for vendors, sponsors and anyone who would be interested in lending a helping hand as a volunteer.

The eight-day event will feature a series of concerts, each of which will be followed by a large fireworks display. Both VIP and general admission areas will be set up for the ticketholders, with room for a total of up to 28,000 attendees. It’s open to all ages, and people who require a wheelchair or other assistive device are welcome.

According to the event’s website, a large number of volunteers are needed to ensure that it will be a success. Anyone who would be willing to help can find an application form to do so on the website. It also contains information for vendors that may be interested in setting up shop, and a list of different sponsorship opportunities and benefits. Customized applications, contracts and other business forms for a large celebration like this can be found through a printing services provider.

The Stars and Thunder fireworks and music festival will be held from June 24th to July 1st in Timmins’s Hollinger Park. Anyone who requires more information is asked to visit the event’s website or call Mayor Steve Black at 705-360-2611 for further details.
