Taste of India on the way for Halifax

July 17, 2017 by

This summer, the Halifax Forum will serve as the venue for an event that will showcase the culture, food, clothing, and other facets of India.

India Fest will be an expo that will have plenty to see and do for all who attend. There will be demonstrations of music and dancing form India, as well as an assortment of food service providers who will be serving up both traditional and modern food from the Asian country. An assortment of artisans and other crafters will have booths and displays for the public to browse through and buy, and there will also be henna artists on site giving temporary tattoos to anyone who would like one. Both jewelry and clothing will also be available for purchase.

The organizers noted that they have planned for it to be an exciting experience for everyone who comes out, and all are welcome. It will be kid friendly, and the facility offers plenty of parking. A printer from the local area can supply an event like this with an assortment of customized pop-up banners and other materials to help ensure it is a success.

India Fest will run from August 11 until 13 and the doors will be open from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm each day. Further information, and an opportunity to learn more about this event, can be found on its Facebook listing.
