Tacofest to return to Burnaby

June 11, 2017 by

Burnaby will soon be hosting a fun celebration that will put tacos front and centre.

Swangard Stadium will serve as the venue for this year’s Tacofest 2017, which will see a huge variety of vendors coming together to serve the crowd their own take on tacos. All sorts will be available, and the organizers noted that the public should come ready think outside the box when it comes to this popular food. When it’s time for a drink, both soft and hard beverages will be available. There will also be popsicles, ice cream and other ways to beat the heat.

There will be other fun activities planned for the day as well. There will be live wrestling demonstrations as well as door prizes for each person who attends. The giant taco piñata will be back, and according to the planners of the event, they will welcome as many food trucks as the stadium will hold.

Those who really want to test their limits can sign up to participate in the Ring of Fire eating competition, and the goal is for everyone to have a great time. Pop up banners can be crafted by a local printer for use during annual events such as this.

All of this will be taking place in Swangard Stadium on July 8th, starting at 12:00 noon. More information and be found on the event’s website.
