Surrey families invited to explore their artistic sides

June 15, 2017 by

This summer, families from Surrey and the surrounding communities will be able to come out to have fun while experimenting with art.

The Family Summer Art Party will bring people together to take part in a series of hands on activities designed to let them explore their creative side by using different media and techniques. They can also try their hand at an art explorer game which will be set up in the gallery.

Visual art will not be the only creative expression that the public will have a chance to experience. The studio’s theatre will be the site of different interactive performances where the public will be able to watch dancers perform and perhaps even join in the fun themselves. It’s open to all ages, and everyone is welcome to come to this family friendly event, which has been planned for the Surrey Art Gallery.

There will be no cost charged to take part. A sign printing company will be able to work with the organizers of a function such as this to create signage and other items that can help to ensure it runs smoothly.

This event will be held on July 15th at Surrey Art Gallery, 13750 88 Avenue. It has been scheduled to begin at 11:00am, and will run until 3:00pm. Additional information for anyone who needs it can be found on the community’s website or by calling 604-591-4205.
