Spring Swap planned for Mississauga

April 24, 2017 by

Springtime is clean-up time for many people, and a Mississauga event will give them a chance to perform a good turn for the earth while swapping their old, unwanted items for ones new to them.

Studio.89 will be hosting a Spring Swap, and has issued an invitation to members of the public to participate in this day of helping the environment. Attendees can bring in their gently used clothing, accessories, bags, small items of furniture and electronics, homeware, and blankets. Every person who brings items will be able to take an equal amount away, helping unwanted articles to get a second lease of life.

According to the organizers, one of the goals of this activity is to divert waste away from landfills while sharing one’s good fortune with others. Any goods that are left over will be contributed to the Textile Waste Diversion, which will dispose of them safely. A sign printing company will be able to provide a wide assortment of signage that can help to make a function such as this a big success.

The Spring Swap, which is open to everyone, has been planned for May 27 at Studio.89, which is located at 1065 Canadian Place in Mississauga. Anyone who would like to obtain additional details, or who has questions, is advised to visit the organizer’s website for further information.
