Saskatoon university to host new students’ information expo

December 27, 2016 by

People who plan in pursuing their post-secondary studies at Saskatoon’s University of Saskatchewan are invited to attend an event that will allow them to hit the ground running when it comes to their university life.

It is expected that at least a few hundred future students will be on hand to find out more about the institution and all that it has to offer. There will be campus tours, introductions of staff, faculty and administration members and breakout sessions.

Those who come out to the orientation expo will be eligible for prize draws, games, food and other fun. The Gordon Oakes Red Bear Students Centre will be open, as will the International Student and Study Aboard Centre. It is mandatory for all international students to visit its offices. The organizers have planned for the event to provide future scholars with a chance to learn more about how to make their most of their postsecondary experience. A printer will be able to supply presentation folders and other promotional products that have been customized specifically for an event such as this.

The University of Saskatchewan Campus Expo will be held on January 3. Registration will begin in Room 241 in the Arts Building, starting at 1:30 pm. A full schedule of activities and other information is available on the University’s website.
