Birdwatching is an enjoyable experience for many people, and an upcoming Richmond event will give the public an opportunity to learn more about how to take good care of their wild feathered friends.

Richmond Nature Park has planned a day of special activities that is dedicated to sharing information and best practices in areas such as feeding wild birds, birdwatching and more. According to its organizers, the activities will be presented with a spotlight on ecosystems and sustainability, and it will also include details about how people can create good bird habitat on their property. They will also be taught methods of observing wildlife that they can use to ensure that they enjoy watching the birds in a way that is also kind to the environment.

The event is suitable for people of any age, and the facility where it will be held can be accessed by those who are physically challenged. There will be no admission fee, but donations will be greatly appreciated. Booklet printing can be put to use in creating handouts of information for all those who take part.

A Day for Birds will be held at the Richmond Nature Park on December 11th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Anyone who would like to find out further details is invited to visit the event’s listing on the City of Richmond website.
