Hamilton will be hosting its 12th annual food and drink festival in April.

Each year the region’s most prevalent restaurants, wineries, craft breweries and food trucks, exhibit their wares at the local food and drink festival.

Festival attendees will enjoy samples of gourmet food and desserts from popular restaurants, as well as original marinades and sauces, and specialty coffee and teas.

A free souvenir sample glass will be provided to each participant to be used when enjoying the many locally produced wines and craft beers. There will be both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to choose from.

On the main stage, there will be live music and entertainment. Local chefs will be providing cooking demonstrations throughout the day. Wine and beer makers will be sharing the secrets of their trade as well. Guests are encouraged to mingle with other attendees, while enjoying the festival.

Also, 1,000 complimentary goodie bags will be distributed to the first festival attendees per day. Some exhibitors may offer take-home promotional materials at their booths, which may include custom drinkware, personalized pens and stationery, as well as discount coupons.

Shopping will also be available, where guest can purchase souvenirs like reusable shopping bags, plates of sample foods to take home and sponsored kitchen aprons.

The festival will be held at the First Ontario Centre in Hamilton, from April 7 to 9.
