Party time almost here at the Edmonton Valley Zoo

ZooFest, which is a celebration that has been planned for the Edmonton Valley Zoo, will bring young and old alike together for an evening of fundraising and fun with the animals next month.

The event will offer adults a sophisticated evening where attendees can enjoy wine samples and food pairings provided courtesy of local eateries, and while they are mingling, the children can head to the Kids Zone, which will be full of family friendly activities.

The function will be rounded off with a both a live and silent auction. The Family Experiences and Behind the Scenes portions of the evening are scheduled to begin one hour before the opening of the main gates for this function. A company that provides sign printing services can be counted on to supply themed decorations for a celebration such as this.

ZooFest is being held in support of two local not-for-profit organizations. The Edmonton Valley Zoo will use the funding to help construct phase three of its facilities, and an amount will also be donated to the Zebra Child Protection Centre, which lends a helping hand to children who have been abused and are in need of support to navigate through the justice system.

The event has been planned for June 17, and further details, as well as an opportunity to purchase tickets, can be found on its Facebook page.
