Northern College to welcome the community

March 17, 2017 by

The Timmins campus of Northern College will be opening its doors to the public for an open house, and anyone who is considering attending the institution or wants to find out more about what it has to offer is welcome to check it out.

Those who come to the event will be able to have a chance to tour the facility, find out what programs it has, meet instructors and other staff, and find out more about the community in general. A variety of fun activities have also been planned, and refreshments will be served. Promotional pens and other swag can be prepared for a day like this by a print company.

As a part of the function, there will be a drawing for bursaries to help future scholars meet the financial cost of their postsecondary education, and other prizes. Time has also been built into the schedule for the day to allow potential future students to meet their possible classmates. While the open house is being offered free of charge, anyone who is interested in taking part is asked to RSVP ahead of time.

Northern College will be opening its doors on April 1 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Anyone who would like to register or wants additional details is asked to contact Julie Lachapelle at 705-235-3211 extension 2108, or visit the event listing for further information.
