The mayor of New Westminster and the city’s Chamber of Commerce have partnered to host an evening that will celebrate all that the region has to offer businesses.

Along with Jonathan Coté, who is New Westminster’s mayor, the mayors of Port Coquitlam, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Surrey, and Port Moody will also be taking part in the dinner, as will the President & CEO of Health Tech Innovation Foundation: Innovation Boulevard Corp., Dr. Peter Payne.

Part of the function will be dedicated to a panel discussion with the representatives of the different cities, which will be moderated by the former CEO of Discovery Parks Realty Corp., Mr. Mark Betterridge. Swag and other branded corporate gifts can be prepared for an event like this by a local printer.

According to its organizers, the goal for the event will be to shine a spotlight on the cutting edge companies that call the city home, including its rapidly growing high-tech sector, and it’s a part of New Westminster’s Innovation Week celebration. It will be held in the Anvil Center, which is located at 777 Columbia Street, and tickets have been priced at $75 for chamber members and $90 for nonmembers.

The innovation Dinner will be held on March 2 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Additional details and contact information can be found on the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce’s website.
