Networking in December with the Halifax Chamber of Commerce

While everyone is looking forward to the holidays and for a nice break, December is not the time to ignore the importance of networking for your business. The Halifax Chamber of Commerce has several networking events planned for the month.

Chamber 101: Don’t Leave your Membership Money on the Table on December 14 at the Chamber offices will show Chamber members how to get the most out of their membership and introduce new members to all they need to know about what is available to them. It will also be a good opportunity for members to network with one another. The meeting will take place from 12:00-1:30 pm and lunch will be served.

On December 15, Business after Hours will be held at the Datarite offices in Dartmouth from 5-7 pm. At this meeting, members and their guests will learn about Managed Printing Services and how their offices can use print more intelligently. This is a free event and there will be a draw for a door prize.

The Professional Sales Networking meeting will take place on December 16 in the Chamber boardroom from noon-1:30. This meeting is for members only. The Professional Sales Network is aimed at those in the sales, marketing and business development fields and will discuss issues pertinent to those industries.

While all of these events are great learning opportunities, they are also a chance to get to know your fellow business owners in Halifax and the surrounding area. One of the keys to business success is having a large network of peers and potential customers.
