Brand building is one of the most important things a business can do to ensure success. This can be done with video, mobile apps and social media networks; it is imperative that a business have an online component today. With that in mind MIXX Canada is holding a series of conferences which will help business leaders learn what they must do to succeed in the online environment. There will be a full one-day conference held in Toronto and half-day Roadshow conferences in cities such as
Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and
Calgary. There will be a chance to network with other business people, so those who intend to be there from the area, including
Dartmouth, should arrange for new
business card printing to ensure that their contact details are up to date.
The Halifax Roadshow conference will take place at the Westin Nova Scotian on September 26; it runs from 8:15 am until 12 pm. The day will start off with breakfast and a chance to network with other attendees. The event will be facilitated by Paul Gignac of IAB Canada. Those attending will learn about the latest research and trends in digital marketing, they will find out current Canadian online statistics from ComScore and they will hear case studies from Canadian online publishers and advertising networks such as Google Canada, Rogers Digital Media, Tribal Fusion, Tribute.ca and NHL.com. The conference costs $75.
Online marketing is steadily becoming a part any company’s advertising campaign, but many are still learning the skills necessary to make it effective. The conference looks to show how it can complement more tried and trusted methods, such as flyer and brochure printing.
