Mississauga workshop to help women learn about the process of buying their first home

Buying her first home can be both an exciting and stressful time for a woman, and during an upcoming Mississauga workshop, participants will be equipped with a set of tools that can make the process a whole lot easier.

The BuyHerself seminar has been designed to provide information in a setting that is relaxed and social. According to its website, there will be no high-pressure tactics used, and participants will be taken through the process of purchasing a home in clear, concise, and step-by-step manner.

A wide range of topics will be covered, including applying for a mortgage, the importance and meaning of credit scores, how a person can decide if they are emotionally and financially ready for home ownership, the different types of property that are on the market, what someone can expect from their realtor, and incentives for homebuyers. The seminar is aimed at those purchasing property for the first time and those who are purchasing a home after many years of not doing so. A printer will be able to use comb binding to produce manuals to give to those who take part in a training session such as this.
