Mississauga school fundraiser back for another year

Mississauga’s Mineola Public School has organized a special day of fundraising and fun, and it is hoping that the community will be generous and show its support.

The school’s carnival will be back, and has been planned to offer something for people of all ages. There will be games for both kids and adults, and they can try their skill and win a prize. There will also be music and activities.

To help maximize the impact of this fundraising effort, the school has also planned a silent auction, which will begin online. The highest bids in the online portion of the auction will become the starting bids in the live auction, which will be held during the carnival.

According to the school, this is one of its most popular community events, and the monies it raises will be used to help enhance the learning environment it offers its students, and it will also be utilized to finance upgrades to the outdoor play spaces. A printer can use wide format printing technology to create large scale artist’s drawings of what the outdoor learning and play spaces will look like, which can be displayed during an event such as this.

The Mineola Carnival will be held on June 1 at 145 Windy Oaks in Mississauga, and the auction will begin on May 25. Additional details, plus a link to the auction, have been made available on the Insauga website.
