Small enough to carry in a computer bag, PrintStik works with either Windows technology from laptops or smart phones. Recognizing that the majority of printing would also be only a few lines as opposed to many pages, the device is designed so users simply tear off the tightly spooled page wherever the text and pictures end. PrintStik’s printing speed averages at about three pages per minute, which is fairly reasonable given the devices size and limitations. PrintStik also scans and transfers documents onto portable computers. The device runs on a lithium battery that can print 30 pages before requiring wall recharging.

What is a slightly substandard is PrintStik’s quality, which is only 16 shades of grey printed on sheets that slightly curl and degrade a year later. Notwithstanding, if quality is not an issue PrintStik delivers reliable performance at a modest prices.
