Milton to revel in agricultural heritage

Milton and the surrounding areas have a rich agricultural heritage, and during an upcoming expo, the community is invited to celebrate this – farm style!

The Summer Fair and Farm Expo will be a daylong event that offers something for everyone. There will be midway-style rides, wagon and tractor rides, a Kids Zone and treats for the younger set, while adults can enjoy the entertainment, tractor pulls, photo booth and food.

Milton’s Country Heritage Park has been selected as the venue for the occasion, and the different activities will be spread throughout the location. It is wheelchair accessible, and parking is available.

Local companies that may be interested in serving as a sponsor for the function are asked to contact the group organizing the fair. According to the planners, those that do will have their name and branding exposed to a large number of potential customers, which can help to build a customer base throughout the eight million people who live in the GTA. A printer can supply personalized business forms that can be used during the organization process of a large function such as this.

The expo has been planned for July 14 to 16 at 8560 Tremaine Road in Milton. Anyone who would like additional information about the festivities, or how to become an event sponsor, can obtain this by visiting the Country Heritage Park website.
