Milton, ON mall walk for charity attracts attention of local printing companies

Local printers interested in supporting and providing printing services for community events would be pleased to know that the Walk n’ Roll 2011 fundraiser event that took place in the Milton, ON mall on April 8-11, 2011, was a resounding success. Participants in the event consisted of stroke, polio and brain injury survivors who walked, strolled or rolled throughout the mall to raise money for stroke recovery, education and support programs for survivors and their families. This year’s Walk n’ Roll Ambassador, Paul Rosen, 2006 Olympic Hockey Gold Medalist, made appearances to support the various registered teams in the walk-a-thon.

The March of Dimes, Stroke Recovery Canada, Independent Living and Acquired Brain Injury. The event is held in conjunction with the March of Dimes walk, which also takes place in Milton, ON and other parts of southwestern Ontario, with various communities supporting diverse charities.
