Print companies in the Milton area may be interested in some small business events being held today Wednesday October 19 at the Milton Chamber of Commerce. The small business schedule includes conferences and workshops for small business owners and those thinking of opening a small business. The seminars are open to all industries and offer great opportunities for up and coming print companies to gain important information and advice in creating a thriving small business.
Workshops are created and hosted by industry leaders and spokespeople with expertise in the subject matters. Among some of the workshops include the use of technology and operating systems useful for business applications, creating web and mobile applications for business, creating effective system back-ups, and how to re-energize website strategies.
Marketing courses that can be relevant for printing companies include art, branding and successful marketing communications, building business and the art of storytelling and a new and upcoming form of advertising, the use of social media as an important strategy in promoting printing services and other products.
Other courses of interest to small businesses would be the finance workshops, including growing an idea into a franchise, financing a business, and running a business during tough economic times.
All Milton Chamber of Commerce workshops are being held at the Teatro Conference & Event Centre at 121 Chisholm Drive. Interested businesses should contact the Chamber of Commerce for more information on registering for seminars and events.
