Nothing beckons summer in Medicine Hat like the yearly jazz festival, the province of Alberta’s longest running jazz festival and huge attraction that draws thousands from across the country. The yearly Jazzfest is already underway, starting on June 18 and wrapping up on June 24. Hot summer nights are heating up for music lovers all across Alberta, and many printers have become involved in promoting the highly anticipated yearly event.
The Medicine Hat Jazzfest has helped promote the event and local talents throughout the entire city, fostering the careers of both local and internationally renowned artists. This year will be the 16th annual festival.
Free events, family friendly events, dance parties, jams, workshops and soft seat concerts are all part of the yearly Medicine Hat Jazzfest, making it an event suitable for music lovers of all ages and talents.
Printers have played an important role in helping sponsor and support the festival. Brochure printers have been busy, with more than 110,000 brochures mailed throughout the area of Southeastern Alberta and even Saskatchewan, as the event is expected to draw international crowds. Printers have also been involved in printed newspaper campaigns as well as radio and internet advertising. In addition numerous billboard and brochure printing have been scattered throughout southern Alberta.
A great deal of printed media coverage is also expected, given this year’s roster of talents. This year’s line up of talents feature notables such as Michael Kaeshammer, Kellylee Evans, Karl Roth, Elizabeth Shepherd and many other regular and new artists.
