Local Press On Hand in London to Cover Music Awards

Representatives of various magazines and media forms will be on hand next week to cover the highly anticipated London Music Awards, an event that helps promote London Ontario’s local and bustling music scene.

The event is expected to cover 20 categories of music and other music related activities, and fans are able to nominate their favourite musicians as well as supporting musical figures. Nominated musicians will then win the London Music Award of their nominated category. Over 12,000 fans have noted in this year’s awards ceremony.

London has surprisingly always had a very vibrant music scene, which has been promoted to the rest of Ontario thanks to the work of media, public relations teams and printing companies who cover London artists. They have done their part to help support a community and cultural event in the city, while showcasing the talent and art of emerging local artists who are trying to turn their passion into a full time career. 13 artists are scheduled to perform in this year’s ceremony at Wolf Performance Hall on June 29.

Banner printings of the event have been surrounding the local neighbourhood and theatre venues. Digital advertisements in Scene Magazine to help advertise London’s 9th annual music event. Scene in fact helped support the first London Music Awards and has continued to be a key media figure in the ceremonies ever since.
