LinkedIn training to be offered in Toronto

October 4, 2016 by

The LinkedIn website is a popular business social media site that allows people to network online and present a positive image of themselves to others in the business community. An upcoming event scheduled for Toronto will give participants advice and tips on how to put their best foot forward.

The Business Career Hub will be presenting a workshop that will teach those who take part how to create LinkedIn profiles that are effective and build a strong online presence. Those who sign up will be able to expand on or tweak a profile they already have or start a new one from scratch in the facility’s on site computer lab. The instructor will use their experience in the field to help create ones that they feel will catch the eye of potential employers, clients or customers. Booklet printing can be used by those who are offering a seminar like this to produce instructional materials for the participants.

There is no charge to take part in the learning session, which will be held on November 2nd from 1:00 until 2:30 in room TRS 2-154 at the Ted Rodgers School of Management, located at 575 Bay Street in Toronto.

An opportunity to RSVP to the event or find out more about it or other training offered by the Business Career Hub can be found on the event’s Eventbrite listing.
