Lethbridge set to party Western style

April 27, 2017 by

Spring has arrived in Alberta, the temperatures are rising and, in Lethbridge, that means it is almost time for the 7th annual Western Tailgate Party fundraiser.

The party, which raises money to help support an assortment of local charities and community service groups, will include something for everyone. The evening will kick off with a pre-dinner show at 5:00 pm, which will be followed by a meal of Western-style barbecue steak, complete with all the trimmings.

There will be lots of entertainment provided throughout the function, including celebrity horseraces and dancing to the music of the Bamboo Guppies. Before the meal, there will be live violin or piano music to enjoy while the guests socialize, as well as country-style tunes.

There will also be games, raffles, auctions, and the tables can even bid on which one will be served first. Ticketholders will have their names entered to win a major prize, and according to the organizers, they have planned some surprises as well. A printer can use paper scoring and other techniques to create customized invitations, decorations, and other Western-themed items for an event like this.

This party will be held on May 27 in Lethbridge’s Exhibition Park. Anyone who would like to purchase tickets to attend or find out more information has been asked to visit the function’s website.
