Fuerza Latina Community Services has planned a special celebration for Vaughan, and all ages are invited to come out and have a great time.

The Vaughan Latin Festival will bring together an assortment of examples of Latino culture in an environment of fun and celebration. The public can enjoy the food that will be on offer, and there will also be a variety of performers taking to the stage to keep the crowd entertained.

Youngsters can spend some time playing in the Kids Zone that will be set up for the day, and the Canada 150 parade will bring the community together to mark the occasion.

The event is being offered free of charge, and in addition to all of the activities, there will be a selection of vendors on site, and those who come out will have a chance to browse through their displays. They can also learn more about Fuerza Latina Community Services and the work it does in the community. An area printer will be able to supply an assortment of custom designed banners and other decorations for a large function such as this.

This celebration of Latin culture, food, crafts and more has been planned for July 15th in Mackenzie Glen District Park. More information about both the function and the group that will be hosting it can be found on its website.
