Kitchener day camp to offer PD day fun

December 18, 2016 by

This January will see Kitchener students enjoying a PD day off from school, and a local art gallery is offering them an opportunity to make it even more fun.

The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery will be holding a PD Day Camp. Kids will be able to learn all about a variety of artistic techniques and then put them to use in crafting something special to take home with them. Qualified staff and volunteers will facilitate the camp, and parents are advised to have their child wear clothes that are okay to get messy. A printer can utilize its graphic design service to create t-shirts and other materials for use during a children’s event such as this.

The camp will run from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm, and children must be picked up by no later than 5:00 pm. Lunches and snacks will not be provided, so parents or caregivers are asked to send nut-free choices for their son or daughter and to make sure they have enough food to eat and water to drink to last throughout the day.

The camp will be held on Friday, January 27th at the gallery. The cost to participate is $48.00 each, and additional information about the event, the activities that will take place and the pertinent policies can be found on the Kitchen-Waterloo Art gallery website.
