Starting a new food service business can be a nerve-racking experience, but an upcoming Guelph workshop will simplify the process.

Innovation Guelph is offering its daylong ‘So You Want to Start a Food Company?’ seminar, which will equip those who participate with a set of tools and knowledge they can use in starting up their business. It will cover all aspects of the industry, taking attendees all the way from the farm to the fork through presentations by guest speakers, a panel discussion and more.

Those who sign up will be able to hear real life experiences and walk away with a better understanding of how they can navigate the process of starting a company and making it thrive, which will allow them to hit the ground running. A printing services provider will be able to supply them with all the printed and promotional materials they need to ensure their new enterprise is a success.

The workshop, which has been organized by Innovation Guelph, will be held on February 28 from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. It will take place on the third floor of 111 Farquhar St. in Guelph, and the registration fee is $99 each.

Anyone who would like to learn more about the seminar and the group that has organized it can do so by visiting Innovation Guelph’s website.
