Great music back in Chilliwack for 25th year

The 25th annual Chilliwack Bluegrass Festival will take place at Chilliwack Heritage Park from August 31 to September 2. Tickets are $70 for three days, $25 for Friday and $35 for Saturday or Sunday. For youth, prices are halved and children aged 6 – 12 pay $10 for the weekend or $5 for each day. Camping for the weekend is also available.
The festival will feature seven bands from the United States and Canada, including the Spinney Brothers, Five on a String, and Northern Departure. There will also be musical jams, workshops, open-mike events, corn shucking, and a free corn boil each night.
Organizers are no doubt working with Chilliwack printing companies to get the word out about the festival. Flyers are an inexpensive way to market any event, especially if bought in bulk, and are very versatile. Large enough to list everything the public needs to know about an event, yet small enough to be folded up and placed in a pocket, they can be distributed in several ways. Organizers might consider door-to-door delivery, direct mail, handing them out on the street, or leaving them lying in public places, such as libraries, malls, and community centers. They can also be distributed to local tourist offices for those visiting the area.
The Bluegrass Festival is set to be a superb way to finish off the summer and an excellent way to introduce the kids to a different kind of music to what they might hear on the radio.
