Fun Family Day events on the way for Burnaby

December 15, 2016 by

The city of Burnaby will be getting in on the holiday fun by holding an assortment of special activities at two different locations to mark the occasion.

Both the Bill Copeland Sports Centre and the Burnaby Village Museum Carousel will be hosting their own events. The sports centre will be kicking off the day with a pancake breakfast, and there will also be a balloon artist, face painting, a toonie skate, live entertainment for the whole family and much more. Families who would prefer to visit the carousel for the day can enjoy heritage games, art activities, a children’s entertainer and all sorts of other fun.

Those who plan on attending the sports centre activities do not need to register ahead of time, but people who would like to attend the day planned for the carousel are asked to pre-register, and the cost to participate at this location has been set at $6.50 each. Signs and other marketing materials for special events such as these can be custom designed for the events by a printer.

Both festivities will take place on February 13th, with the schedule of events starting at 9:30 at the sports centre and at 11:00 am at the carousel. Further details can be found by visiting the city of Burnaby website.
