Evergreen’s winter village to open for the holiday season

A special event is coming to Toronto that combines holiday fun with helping to support urban wild spaces.

The Evergreen Brick Works will be holding its Winter Village celebration that will bring together food, shopping and fun. More than 15 vendors will be serving up a variety of international dishes, and there will also be live entertainment and a campfire blazing where visitors can warm up and relax.

In addition to the food and other festivities, the occasion will mark the opening of Evergreen’s Winter Village market, which will see hundreds of Ontario vendors displaying their handcrafted items and other offerings. Visitors will also have a chance to find out more about the different activities the organization hosts throughput the year. The Children’s Garden, the quarry and other facilities may also be open for the public to explore. Sign printing can be used to produce signage for an event like this that can withstand being out in the harsh winter weather that the area can experience.

The Evergreen Winter Village will be open from December 10th until February 28th, with the operating hours depending on the date. The makers market will run until December 23rd, and all of this is located at 550 Bayview Avenue. It can be reached by walking, biking public transit and also a shuttle service. More details are available on the organization’s website.
