April 10, 2017 by

Administrative professionals from across the city of Edmonton are cordially invited to attend a day that has been planned especially with them in mind.

The Edmonton Branch of the Association of Administrative Professionals will be hosting its annual workshop that focuses on professional development. It will explore the past, present, and also the future of the profession, and there will be sessions planned throughout the event where attendees can share best practices, network, and listen to information and ideas presented by experts in the field.

Dress for the day will be business attire, and people are encouraged to wear clothing in layers so they can be comfortable whatever the temperature. According to the organizers, a big part of the day will be discussing possible solutions and other ways of dealing with the challenges faced by those who work in the field. Branded promotional products, which can be given out as “swag”, can be created by the sponsors of an event such as this.

The conference has been planned for May 4 in the Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre. Fees to participate are $135 for members and $165 for non-members, and this includes breakfast, lunch, comfort breaks, and more. Anyone who would like to take part can visit the city’s events website for additional details and an opportunity to register.
