Edmonton gala to recognize local heroes

Each year, individuals and families across the province make the lifesaving decision to become organ donors, and the Canadian Transplant Association has organized a gala event to both raise funds and thank these everyday heroes.

The evening, which will feature a sit-down plated meal and remarks from CTV’s Erin Isfeld, is open to both members and nonmembers of the association alike. It will open with a cocktail reception before the meal and entertainment begins, and there will also be a silent auction led by renowned auctioneer Danny Hooper. Stationery printers can be utilized by those who plan an event like this to provide them with customized invitations for the guests and other printed materials.

In an effort to make the event as successful as possible, sponsorships are being sought. There are three different levels available, and gifts in kind for the auction, in-kind partnerships and monetary donations will also be greatly appreciated. According to the organizers, every bit, no matter how large or small, can help to make a difference.

The Heroes for Life Gala has been planned for the Chateau Nova Hotel. The ticket price for members is $75, while for nonmembers, the cost will be $90.00. All are welcome, and additional information about the event, as well as an opportunity to purchase tickets or submit a sponsorship application can be found on its website.
