Downsview to celebrate all things food this winter

December 16, 2016 by

Foodies from Downsview and all across Toronto are invited to get involved in a special event that will be taking place this winter.

Over 200 restaurants throughout city will be taking part in this celebration of all things food. Each will be offering a select menu of three course prix-fixe dinner and lunch menus. Along with this there will be other activities such as cooking demonstrations and classes facilitated by local chefs, tasting, wine pairing lessons, dinner theatre, chef’s dinners and much more.

The event is brought to the city courtesy of Interac Association, and applications from restaurants that wish to participate are reviewed by the Winterlicious/Summerlicious Advisory Board to determine whether or not they are eligible. Those that wish to participate need to be able to meet the minimum meal price value requirements that have been set for the event. Eateries that will be offering special pricing for a celebration like this can use printing services to create customized menus and other materials for their patrons.

Winterlicious will be held at various venues across the city and will run from January 27th until February 9th. Meal prices will vary according to the location, and further information, including list of participating business and other activities that will be held during the festival, is available for viewing on The City of Toronto website.
