Brochure printers in Woodstock , Ontario, will want to know about the award that was recently handed out to a Toronto-based printer of digital fabric. At this year’s 4th Annual International Sports Event Management Awards, The Look Company took home the Silver award for its work.
The Toronto company won the Silver award for its work related to this year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver. The Look Company won the Silver award in the “Event Look Award” category, which is a category that has been set up to recognize an event that effectively captures the spirit of the Olympics at both outside and indoor venues.
The head of The Look Company’s sister company, TFCN, is excited about the recognition. According to him, the whole team at The Look Company felt honored not only to be nominated, but then also to go ahead and actually win the award. He further went on to explain the award is a pleasing validation for his team’s long hours and difficult work that went into organizing the event at the Vancouver Olympics.
On behalf of The Look Company, sister company TFCN made almost 100 kilometers of digitally printed fence fabric or scrim, polyester-printed banners, and also on-camera media treatments for the 2010 Olympics. TFCN also was the company behind the actual execution of the digital fabric finishing and printing for the games.
The brochure printers in Woodstock, Ontario, may be curious about such printing techniques as a way of introducing new services to their local customers.
